Rituals for Remembrance:
A Field Guide for the Cultivation of Virtue

Join the Waitlist

Something in us already knows these virtues.

We have simply forgotten.

Rituals for Remembrance is a 52-week field guide for the cultivation of virtue — rooted in classical Daoist medicine, contemplative wisdom, and the living traditions of East and West. Forty-nine virtues, each with a story, a clinical case study, and a ritual for embodied practice. Three teachings on the sevens — the chakras, the seven-year cycles of Chinese medicine, and the wisdom channels — one for each remaining week of the year.

One virtue. One week. One full year of remembering who you truly are.

This is the book Dr. Cass has been writing for two decades without knowing it — distilled from her clinical practice, her lineage transmissions, her own healing, and her devotion to the ancient arts of cultivation.

Already whole. Already luminous. Already free. Welcome to the REMEMBERING.

The First Virtue

Sovereignty — The Flame of the Self Remembered

Virtue Field: Fire Essence: The inner authority that rescues itself.

There comes a moment when no one can save us — when the teacher, the parent, the lover, the gods themselves fall silent — and something deeper rises from within. That rising is Sovereignty. It is the moment the soul steps into its own throne of light and remembers: I am the one I've been waiting for.

When I was four years old, our house burned down. The fire began in the hallway just outside my bedroom door. I remember touching the doorknob — it was too hot to open. I was trapped. Alone. I called out, but no one came.

At forty, I was guided back to that day in a healing session — and I watched myself pick up a chair, break the window, lift the child through, and send her running into freedom.

"Is that what really happened?" "How could it be any other way?"
