Bringing ritual and ceremony back into everyday life reminds us of our place in the cosmic cycle of life. We have these rituals to remember who we are and our connection to each other, nature, and the cosmos. I invite you to join us as I facilitate various classes, retreats, special ceremonies, and workshops with other heart-centered participants.

Retreats, Workshops, Ceremonies

From Iceland to Ireland, St Bart’s to Kyoto, Jamaica to Marbella- I facilitate connection, devotion, and inspiration with a playful heart through the Daoist arts of energy and Spirit: Qigong, tea and incense ceremony, meditation, yoga, breath-work, acupuncture,

Cha Dao- the Way of Tea

is the ancient Chinese art and spiritual practice of preparing and sharing tea as a path to inner harmony, mindfulness, and connection with nature. Rooted in Daoist and Zen philosophy, Cha Dao honors simplicity, presence, and the sacred in everyday. The tea ceremony is not just about drinking tea- it is a meditative ritual where each gesture, from the pouring of the water to the placement of cups, becomes an expression of reverence and stillness.

Cha Dao invites participants into quiet communion with the Dao- the Great Way- cultivating grace, humility, and the beauty of silence with every cup.

Ceremonies

Bringing ritual and ceremony back into everyday life reminds us of our place in the cosmic cycle of life. We have these rituals for remembrance- to remember who we truly are. To remember how we are part of nature and the cosmos. For our ancestors, ceremony and ritual were part of everyday life. They saw nature as their teacher and followed her lead. The sun and moon, and stars guided the way.

In modern days, we have forgotten. We forget who we are and our connection to nature and each other. We can create ceremonies to mark significant events such as births, unions, coming of age, transitions, change of seasons, the 13 moons, gratitude for the sunrise and sunset, and a new home. To mark days on the calendar- solstice, equinox, full moons, new moons, Beltane, Samhain, 4th night…We may commune with plants, tea, incense, and in prayer. We may be in circles with nature, in tents, or teepee, sweatlodge, or a home. We may journey solo or in large groups. In stillness or movement. In all ways with a heart of devotion.

Qigong
is a combination of "Qi" (life-force, bioenergy, creativity, consciousness) and
"gong" (cultivation or practice over time). It is a self-initiated health and wellness practice
consisting of a combination of movement, meditation, and breathing. Qigong formed the early root
of Chinese Medicine and is still considered an integral part of modern Chinese Medicine practices.

Come learn the benefits of Qigong in a hands on offering while learning modalities that :
optimize the delivery of oxygen and nutrition to the tissues, increasing the efficiency of cellular metabolism,
alter neurochemistry towards healing,
manage pain and mood,
facilitate relaxation, mental focus,
and the expansion of consciousness.

Reiki-

Cass is a 7th generation Reiki Master/teacher in the lineage of Master Usui. She received transmission and attunements from her herbal medicine and
pulse diagnosis mentor, Dr. William Morris - Reiki Center of Los Angeles. Cass took the pilgrimage to Mt. Kurama, the birthplace of Reiki, outside of Kyoto, Japan in 2017, and was moved by the gravity and power of this energy healing and honored to hold the torch of the lineage.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by means of touch or non-touch and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

10th Annual Ian Moore Songwriting Workshop

November 7-10, 2025

Ian, Jodie, and I put these together 10 years ago and they have been a joy, pleasure, and huge success. As a musician myself, I participate: write, play, and sing as well as teach breakouts on how to move stuck emotions with movement and sound. I also LOVE to sing back up or play keys on some of the songs. We work with the elements, the trees, our imagination, and each other to create a one-of-a kind experience that has participants coming back year after year.

“Cass is the secret weapon at our songwriting workshops. She is a healer who has a wide range of super powers. She can help with trauma recovery, pain management, detox, and even covid recovery through her use of integrated arts such as acupuncture, cupping, meridian therapy, sound healing, and chinese medicine…”
