Ginger Bath instructions
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
Take fresh ginger about the size of your palm- size of your hand.
Cut up into nickel size pieces and put into boiling water.
Turn heat to medium/low and let simmer until water changes colors: 10-20 minutes.
Go start your bath water- as hot as you can stand it.
Strain one cup of ginger tea into a mug to drink.
Remove the dregs (the ginger pieces).
Drink now or while you are in the bath.
Pour the remaining hot ginger liquid that is in the pot- into the bathtub.
Drink the ginger tea while "relaxing" in your bath.
The goal is to induce a sweat- to sweat out the pathogens.
Once you have a decent- heavy sweat but are not lightheaded, bath time is over.
Dry off completely, wrap up very warmly- maybe even a scarf and hat.
And go to bed.
